So here is the back story to the pictures you are about to view. Thanks to Anthony of Weather the Storm, some of Fivecore's bands were invited to perform in Austin Texas on the Texas Rock Fest portion of the South by South West annual event. All these pics were taken in Austin during the music festival and I have to say we had one hell of a time. Here are some of the bands we were lucky enough to catch on this little trip down south: The Riverboat Gamblers, Turbo Negro, The Buzzcocks, Youth Brigade, The Stitches, Nothington, and Joan Jett. Amazing to be able to catch all these great bands with in 48hrs.
The Fivecore bands that made it to Austin are Valiomierda, Tard and Lyin' Bitch and the Restraining Orders. Additionally, many of our good friends bands from Denver were there too, which made it an even better trip. It was almost like being at home, there were so many familiar faces. Also attending from Colorado were: Black Lamb, Hemi Cuda, Drag the River, Under the Drone, Weather the Storm, Abinitio, Hoss, 29th St. Disciples, DDC, A vision Red, Cherry Bomb Suicide and All Day Suckers. It was great partying with all of you!!

This group of pics is from Emo's Austin Texas over Friday and Saturday night. After spending the days checking out our friends bands and finding all the rad bars that were serving Loanstar Beer for free it was time to head to Emo's to catch the best of what SXSW had to offer. Let me tell you Shane and I had not raged so hard since the last time we ended our tour in Vegas. Friday nights head liner was Youth Brigade and Saturday nights was FUCKING Turbo Negro. Turbo Negro was easily the best show I had attended in about 10 years.
All in all it was a great trip for the Fivecore Bands not to mention all of the other Colorado bands that performed. Denver had a strong showing thanks to the efforts of Anthony from Weather the Storm. Can't wait till next year to do it all again.
